Wikipedia Search is an open source gadget created by Google. I am the coordinator of the project which is hosted at Google Code. The Wikipedia Search gadget is probably the easiest and quickest way to search wikipedia without opening a browser. Moreover, the gadget has been translated into various languages.


Wikipedia Search remembers your recent queries. Click the magnifying glass to see them.

Oops, Amarok isn't only a cool music player, it's also the name of a giant wolf in Inuit mythology and two bands. No problem! The gadget has the wikipedia disambiguation feature built in.
